This is a photo of Brit, she is a student of Gary Hodges, Jr. who is an IKI brown belt in Virginia. Gary is one of our instructors and is doing a great job in spreading our style of Krav Maga. I met and trained with Gary in the USA. Brit has been working really hard, and it is paying off. I am proud of both of them.

Naomi Milano Yitzhak

Naomi has been a regular visitor to our dojo for many years. Recently she has begun training to be an IKI Krav Maga instructor. She already has earned a black belt in Shurin Ryu karate under her instructor, Sensei Jill Shames, and Sensei Michael Rosati. In November she conducted a successful seminar at our dojo for a group of visiting female journalists from Canada. The event was sponsered by the Canadian Israel Coalition. Naomi will also be representing us by teaching a class at the upcoming womens' seminar on December 28th. Please contact me if you want more information on this seminar.

Tzvi Polinsky gets STORM Award

For the first time in several years I have awarded a student with the STORM award; Special Team of Role Models. The recipient of this special award, a special patch to be sewed on to the uniform, is Tzvi Polinsky.

For several years Tzvi has been training in the dojo, improving not only his technique but his leadership skills as well. Although he is quite young, I can honestly say he is a major asset to me. When watching him I see a real teacher and role model. He is truly deserving of this special, and rare, award.
