IKI Instructor Support Service
I was recently asked by a potential member, what kind of support does IKI offer to its certified instructors? So, I shall answer.
International Recognition - IKI - Israeli Krav International, is one the oldest and best known Krav Maga organizations operating in more than 40 countries worldwide. It has received recognition from the US government, military and police, Canada, and many other countries. We have taught at Israeli military bases and served all branches.
Being affiliated with IKI gives the instructor and school instant name recognition and credibility. No matter how cool a name you can think of on your own, it will be just that, a name that you thought of; a local school with no recognition. Being affiliated with a veteran organization gives you recognition, credibility, and prestige.
Documentation - In addition to a valid instructor certificate, we provide letters of recommendation, individually tailored as required, to our instructors, to help them obtain work in schools, community centers, as needed. We are here to back you up, your diploma was not "self - issued" nor printed on the internet, it was written, signed and sealed by a legitimate government recognition association based just outside Jerusalem, our eternal capital.
Instructor Advancement - As a member of IKI you are eligible to test for higher instructor ranks, and belt ranks. We adhere to a strict standard. Your rank has meaning.
Instructor Technique Advancement and Training - You will not only be receiving daily videos with updates and new techniques, but you can send in any question that you or your students may have. Saw a crime on TV but don't know how to handle it? Write to us, we will make a video, you will always have answers for your students, you will never be alone. This is the support that we provide.
Networking with other instructors - As a member of our international instructors' team, and hopefully by attending international seminars as well, you will meet instructors from all over the world who share your vision, ethics and goals. You can brainstorm with them, share ideas, and have a network of support throughout the world.
Advice - IKI is here to offer advice, how to deal with any challenging situation, or opportunity. Teaching advice, challenging or gifted students, expansion, adding new instructors and so forth.
Business and Marketing Ideas - With successful instructors from all over the world you can discuss how to improve your business, how to market your programs, where to purchase the best equipment. You have the IKI headquarters plus an international support system.
