"And Moshe and Aharon were returned to Par'o. And he said to them 'Go worship your God, who and who are going? And Moshe said: 'We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our sheep and with our cattle.." (Shmoth, Exodus, chapter 10)

There are some activities in life that are only for some people. Not everyone has the courage to go bungee jumping. As the late great Arik Einstein pointed out in his song, "Love to be at Home".."Some people like to climb high mountains, so go chasing after tigers...but I like to be at home".

Not every activity is for everyone.

However, some activities are in fact for everyone. Everyone must learn to eat properly; everyone must engage in some form of exercise or physical activity, and I believe everyone must learn how to stand up for themselves and if need be, defend themselves.

When Moshe is asked "Who is going?" that is exactly as he responded. We are all going. This is something we all need to participate in. This is not something just for those who are "into it", it is for everyone.

"Oh, me, nah, I am not into safe driving, not my thing?" Really?

"Self defense, nope, I prefer chess" Really now?

It is high time we realize that certain activities in this life are pertinent for all of us. So when I am asked; For whom is your style of Krav Maga designed? Super athletes? The young and fit? I respond as the first Moshe responded. For our young and for our old, for our sons and for our daughters. It is for everyone.
